An Open Day is organised every year!

The annual Open day event at Langøya has a long history. The event takes places in August, usually on the first Saturday after the end of the school holidays.

The goal behind the Open Day is to give visitors a good factual overview of NOAH’s treatment processes for hazardous waste and contaminated excavation waste and, equally as important, to show how NOAH is working to return Langøya to its original state after 100 years of limestone extraction.

Everyone is welcome to the Open Day – visitors young and old and from near and far.
Naturally, the ferry crossing and participation in the event are free of charge.

On Langøya, we serve barbecue dishes, coffee, mineral water, soda, ice cream and waffles. Guided tours, an information stand and other activities provide visitors with information on how we process hazardous waste and render it nonhazardous. It goes without saying that there is always plenty of opportunity to ask our professionals questions.

If you have any questions in the meantime, contact us at +47 33 09 95 00.

All of us at NOAH look forward every year to meeting environmentally aware and inquisitive visitors.
