Full-scale salt recovery for industrial raw materials on Herøya
In order to expand our research activities even further and improve the possibility of good recycling projects, NOAH has established a division at the Herøya Research Park. Here, NOAH plans to carry out research and development activities that will be less dependent on the current operations on Langøya, including taking advantage of the research and expertise, as well as knowledge and experience with piloting and industrialisation, available on Herøya.
Plans are in place for a large-scale recovery project on Herøya, the objective of which is to recover salts from fly ash. The project will receive funding of up to NOK 10 million from Innovation Norway.
